It's hard to detect some things that could be legit until they definitely post spam; I don't care too much about active accounts until they post something.  Many find that they can create an account but posting spam is harder, since they're hit with another captcha when they post a link.  We'll see what happens with that guy, but there isn't enough evidence till the post is bad. *Glad you caught the little wiggler.  :)  I thought it was a usual spambot post until I saw that he tried to repost his little off-topic screed.  Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!  --[[User:QSO|QSO]] ([[User talk:QSO|talk]]) 18:25, 28 November 2014 (PST)

Excellent to hear! Please fire away at documenting anything you like! Hardaker (talk) 12:00, 14 April 2014 (PDT)

It sounds like a wonderful idea to have more articles on radios. I wonder if we can attract attention from people with super-old radios to document them too, since I'm sure there isn't much on the web about some of the older stuff. Hardaker (talk) 05:51, 15 April 2014 (PDT)

Yep. I saw it too. I try not to delete things until they've actually posted spam, but you're right that was clearly a spam account. Anyway, I change the captcha questions every once in a while, which stops them for quite a while. Eventually some bloke figures out the answers and writes them down or something. It's probably getting near the time to change them again. Hardaker (talk) 17:41, 23 September 2014 (PDT)
