VO 52 HAMSAT is the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)'s first Micro-satellite intended to provide satellite based amateur radio services to the National as well as International community of hams.

The satellite was launched in May 2005, and was operational in June 2005.

  • Transponder Bandwidth: 60 kHz
  • Transmitter Output: 1 watt
  • Modes of Communication: CW, SSB
