Using tables instead of lists

I think tables are a better format than lists, because people can then sort by time, frequency or location or whatever. With the table sorting capabilities of Mediawiki, it would be easy to group all nets in a single table and allow people to easily comb through the nets to find what they want. For this, the wiki needs to be upgraded. However, the format in Nets_table is for me inadequate because it duplicates information. I would rather use a format like this one that is more compact and easy to browse (ie. we don't want to separate by day too much, it can be just another column). The only thing I am unsure about is wheter we want to have a table for everywhere or per continent... -- TheAnarcat 07:44, 12 November 2010 (CST)

Good idea - tim
Mediawiki will be upgraded to the latest version soon, and improvements such as this wil then be possible. A world table may be too unwieldy I think, although I can see the benefit as hf nets are populated by people from all over.17:38 12Nov
So I updated the page to use tables, but the Nets_table page need to be factored in. It would be also nice to go through the linked pages to add more to this page... -- TheAnarcat 20:33, 21 November 2010 (PST)
